如果有大量文件的朋友购买GOdaddy还是要小心，因为我就是个例子

我的论坛大部分是图片，dz论坛，按月来储存图片的，本来购买国外空间就是因为够大，以前用DH的，后来觉得速度不怎么好就搬到了 godaddy

图片文件夹还没上传2个，godaddy就暂停了我图片目录的权限，然后写了封信给我，我没有觉得他们没有说是建议的意思，我觉得是强硬
的要求了

后来想说按天来储存算了，可是我有50g图片的地址已经在数据库里了，修改已经是一个很难的事情，而且最重要的就是就算按天来算我也有可能会超过1024，因为dz是缩略图和正常图放同一个目录的,而对于一些图片论坛来说，一天500个图算不高的

我现在不知道怎么处理好

Dear Sir/Madam,

It has come to our attention that your skaoer00.com hosting account currently has an improper directory structure. More specifically, the following directories have greater than 1,024 files plus folders combined:

/attachments

The amount of files/folders in this directory is causing an overload of the shared resources on this server. This, in turn, affects the usage of the server by other customers. To protect the overall health of the server, we have suspended the directory.

Each directory should have a total maximum of 1,024 files and folders. Any more than this can cause file system latency and slowness when accessing FTP and hosting from the Web.

We respectfully request that by February 11, 2010 9:00AM (GMT -7) you respond to this email stating your intentions to bring the directory into compliance so that we may provide you ftp access back to the directory or you request we tar and remove the directory for you.

If no response is heard by then, we will have to bring the directories into compliance on your behalf. Additionally, we ask that any scripts that automatically create these files be optimized to not create more than this amount. Please note, further excessive directory structures could be subject to an account suspension. If you have questions about this matter, you may contact us by replying to this email or by calling 480-505-8871.

我也是很多文件，但是每个文件夹最多500个文件

add.c

图片文件还没上传两个, 然后又说有50G的图片,两个文件夹放上G的图片很容易超1024的
1024个的限制的确不是强制限制,但是如果你超过太多严重影响服务器性能,从而影响别的用户使用这个是不允许的

DZ的附件存储确实很容易超1024.不是单个附件文件夹超，就是总文件夹数超，比如按天来存储，有个三年的论坛，就超1024了。头疼。

怎么我的文件夹里有4、5千个文件都没有事？不过我的文件都是.txt文件，每个文件都比较小

txt文件对服务器性能影响较小,不像图片文件影响大
