Thank you for contacting Online Support.  It is unclear what you are asking but if you are asking if you are allowed to upload files to the root directory of the hosting account then you are able to do this and the primary domains on our hosting accounts will resolve to the root directory by default.  When uploading to the root directory this is indicated by a single forward slash '/' and you do not want to enter 'root' for the root folder.

At this time I am unable to duplicate the issue that you are describing and it is unclear what domain you are referring to.  In order for us to look further into this issue you will need to specify the domain in question, provide a screen shot of the error that you are receiving, and provide the steps taken to duplicate the issue.

The term screen shot refers to "grabbing" a still image of the contents of your computer monitor that can be saved as a graphic file and printed, faxed, or emailed.

Screen shots are very helpful in explaining what you are seeing on your computer when working with customer support. It is often easier for you and for the support representative if you take a screen shot of what you are seeing and simply send it in.
