Dear Sir/Madam,

Regarding your hosting account xxxx.cn:

In regards to your website xxxx.cn, Go Daddy's Security Operations Center has determined that it is the target of a denial of service attack. Your website has been placed behind a filter to help slow the attack and to protect the server that your sites shares with other Go Daddy customers. As a result you may see intermittent connectivity to your site.

While we understand that this may be unintentional, this situation could possibly affect the service Go Daddy provides to other customers which is technically a violation of Go Daddy's Web Site and Virtual Dedicated Server Service Agreement.

The relevant passage of this agreement has been provided below:

"You agree Go Daddy reserves the right to remove your website temporarily or permanently from its servers if Go Daddy is the recipient of activities that threaten the stability of its network."

Go Daddy's security personnel can remove this filter if/when it is determined that the denial of service attack subsides.

You can resolve this issue by simply responding to this notice with the following:

1. A statement that you have reviewed and agree to abide by the terms of the Go Daddy "Web Site and Virtual Dedicated Server Service Agreement" and

2. A statement that you understand and acknowledge that, your website may continue experience intermittent connectivity issues while it remains behind these protective filters

After we receive your reply with these statements we will continue to monitor the situation and will remove the protective filter when we have conclusively determined that the attack has ceased. (We reserve the right to place your site behind the filter again if a repeat occurrence of this situation is discovered.)
