Compared with Shared Hosting, Web hosting, or 4GH offers increased availability and
scalability. Shared Hosting can handle a
limited amount of traffic, beyond which the site becomes unreachable. 4GH responds to traffic spikes by adding
additional resources to your site, keeping your site live regardless of
traffic.

Due to differences in 4GH, it cannot
offer support for
some of the technologies that Shared
Hosting can:


    * Access databases are not supported
      due to Access' locking scheme which prevents concurrent usage from
      different processes.

    * Front Page Server Extensions are not currently supported.

    * Java and ColdFusion are not currently supported.

    * Concurrent file writes to the same file in multiple sessions or concurrent threads. Example of affected
      resources: File-based databases and cross session log files (these
      issues are exaggerated in a 4GH
      environment due to additional volume).

    * Storing data within the Application
      namespace and depending on multiple concurrent sessions accessing
      accurate data for the entire application.

    * Static Classes where sessions across the site (application) must
      have concurrent access to accurate data.


The difference between the Secure Web hosting and normal web hosting is that the Secured web hosting has an SSL certificate applied to it to secure the server.

这个不用看了，这个AP是亚洲机房的意思，一般来说，建议买美国机房。

这个和其他的区别在于有SSL certificate applied to it to secure the server.

这个是云主机，比shared主机要更强的处理能力，对于大流量网站，或者占用资源较多的网站比较适合。但是由于技术原因，有些shared主机有的功能云主机没有（楼上列的那些功能）

这个是一般的虚拟主机。

3:Hosting - Web - Ultimate - Linux  - US based Server
2:Hosting - Web - Ultimate Secure - Linux  - US based server -This is the same as the previous 2 servers but this is the most recent offering and offers the free Premium DNS.
4:Hosting - Shared - Ultimate - Linux -This is our legacy server and support software like Front Page and Cold Fusion.  This is not on a 4GH (grid system) and only has one server to support everyone on the server.

不知道4GH Windows的是不是支持ZendOptimizer，唉。。现在还在用Grid windows 150GB，不支持ZendOptimizer的阄割版。。。杯具啊。。好多程序Zend加密。。
