该怎么绑定域名呢？

新买了一个Godaddy的主机，去set up时要绑定一个域名，但出现以下提示：
   We cannot locate this domain name's DNS record for one of two reasons:
   The DNS record is not under our control. Your Web site cannot launch until the record is manually changed to point to your hosting account's server. To help you preview your Web site before changing your DNS record, we have enabled Preview DNS. Learn More
   The domain name was just purchased and a DNS record has not yet been created. Once created, your DNS record will update automatically.

请问上面的意思是：1。域名必须是在Godaddy吗？2。或者是域名必须要用Godaddy的namesevers？3.还是域名必须先指向这个主机？要是这样我还没还用空间又怎么知道空间的ip呢？怎么指向呢？
