关于GD要求修改域名信息的邮件

这两天收到两封GD的邮件，好像说是根据国际域名注册机构的要求，要求域名注册人核实一下域名的所有人信息，不知是不是这个意思？不理它有什么后果吗？

邮件原文如下：
