You can move account to the other platform. Since the linux and windows servers are two different physical machines the only way to perform a platform switch is the deletion of the account on the old server and a complete new setup on the new server. The complete account has to be cancelled, refunded, and deleted. All your files, email accounts and settings will be deleted permanently. Be sure to have a backup of all the files on your local hard drive and if not, make one.

This process can take up to 72 hours to fully complete

Basic process is as follows

1. You need to have backup of any and all content, emails, web files, databases, etc.

2. You can initiate the platform switch process.

You can start the process by going to your hosting account settings via the control panel and clicking the change platform link.

3. The new account will be created momentarily after the switch. At this point the account is like a brand new customer, you will need to upload all files, etc.

Please log in to your Account Control panel. Click setting near your hosting plan. And you will find this option at the bottom. And don't forget make backups of your site. Because your hosting servers will changed too.
