请问是什么意思?
(This article covers the most common domain extensions like .com/.net/.org etc... Some domain extensions have different rules.)
Domain names have a lifespan that can be as little as 1 year, or as long as 9 years with Name.com, depending on the length of time you chose to renew it for.
Once a domain expires the first thing you will want to do is check your account. After expiration the domain will stay in your account for 25 more days. This time is called the renewal grace period. During this period the domain is still in your account, but cannot be managed or transferred until it is renewed.
On day 26 the domain is removed from your account and placed into a holding account. During this time it may be sold on our 'expiring domains' list. That said, it is possible for us to return to the domain to your account for renewal if it has not been sold to another party. You will want to contact support@name.com to see if this is an option for you.
On day 45 after expiration the domain is returned to the Registry and enters a status called the "Redemption Grace Period". While a domain is in the redemption period the previous owner of the domain can request that we restore the domain from the registry. There are significant fees associated with this process. Please contact support@name.com to inquire about the details of domain restoration.
Once the domain reaches the state of PendingDelete your only options are to wait for it to be deleted by the registry, or to place a backorder for the domain. |
