Hostmonster安装Discuz!的SNS不能启用MYOP的问题

安装了DIscuz的UC Home，不能开启MYOP应用。

Discuz给出的答复是调整虚拟主机可以访问到api.manyou.com

给Hostmonster写了两次信，要求将购买的独立IP变成成一个可以ping通api.manyou.com的IP.

跟Hostmonster反复沟通了很多此，给出的答复就是不同意，说是中国政府封锁的问题，他们也没有办法。

我郁闷了，附带回信，各位老大说说，该如何才能解决这个问题啊。

这是写给Hostmonster的信：
I appreciate you for your timely reply to my problem. Maybe I haven't explained the trouble clearly to you. Now I will give you the full details in order to have the problem solved.
74.220.*.*.(不好意思，这里我隐藏了)the IP that I bought,now could not get access to api.manyou.com by pinging. I had consulted the administrater of that website thoroughly before I wrote this letter. They said that they didn't block the IP from pinging to the website. Having talked with a friend on BBS, I found that he had come across with the same problem as I had. He also used the virtual space of hostmonster and his space could get access to the website neither. But when he left a message to your technican, his imaginary space was adjusted to be able to visit api.manyou.com.
I have a strong desire that my independent IP,74.220.220.167,could also enter the website by pinging. Besides,I've got an idea of my own.
I wonder if you can change it to an unblocked one to guarantee the IP the access to website. Similarly, I doubt if it works to renew the DNS or add 221.194.139.132api.manyou.com to the host file when the DNS gets any trouble analysing the domain name of website. Or maybe there is something wrong with the Network Firewall. I'm looking forward to your helping me solve the problem.

You are trying to visit a site that is hosted in China is the problem & China must have banned the server your account is on from their country in both directions.

This is an unfortunate and difficult situation. If we had any control over the Chinese government, we would be happy to help resolve the underlying issue. Unfortunately this is not the case.

Our company respects the right to free speech as well as decency on the Internet. We have a very strict Terms of Service and we will take action to suspend websites we host which are in violation. While strict, it is likely that we do not share the exact same policies as the government of China. Again, this is an unfortunate situation of which we have no control over.

Contacting us regarding China blocking an IP address is metaphorical to contacting McDonalds because the highway patrol decided to close the nearby offramp. Although it may upset their customers, in all reality McDonalds has zero control over the offramp or the interstate system. Sure, we could continue to build new offramps for our customers to reach us, however this would be a fruitless waste of time, money, and effort. More importantly it would give our customers a false sense of assurance that their new route would not be interrupted in the near future. Those too would be shut down as soon as they were discovered. Changing IP addresses every time they get banned by China is not the solution.

The address api.manyou.com is hosted in China & so China is causing the issue so there is nothing I can do for you as it is the Chinese Government that is causing the issue.
