Bowdi will be moved to a new server Monday, September 22, 2008. This move will be to transfer the server from our Los Angeles datacenter to our San Diego datacenter. We will start the migration process at approximately 10pm Pacific time.We suggest no significant changes be made to your site during thetransfer. There will be an approximate 30 minute window after we do thelast data synchronization between the servers where databases will notconvert data to the new server. Unfortunately we do not have advanceknowledge of the exact timeof when this window will occur as it is dependent on numerous factors,however, we are estimating this will be at approximately 9am Pacific time on Thursday, September 25, 2008.

Afterthe rsync completes, we will then be moving the server physically toSan Diego. This may take a few hours to perform, then we will reboot itup at the new datacenter. The server will change IPs once it hasmigrated. The new server IP will be the following:

216.97.231.215 IN PTR bowdi.lunarpages.com.

pleasenote that we will be upgrading several important components on yourserver as well. The version for each component is listed below:

Apache to 1.3.41 if it wasn't already this version
PHP4 to PHP 4.4.9
PHP5 when applicable to PHP 5.2.6
MySQL to MySQL 5.0.51a
Ruby when applicable to Ruby 1.8.6 newest patched release
Zend Optimizer to 3.3.3
IonCube to 3.1.32
ffmpeg when applicable to latest release snapshot

Theseupdates are for security purposes to update each service to the newest,secure release. If you experience any site issues due to the upgrades,please note that you may need to review your php.ini file(s) to see ifthe following line needs to be added to it:

register_globals = On

Additionally, your .htaccess or php.ini may need to have php-based handlers changed. You should contact us at support@lunarpages.com with any questions you might have about such changes.

Notall servers have the above PHP5, Ruby or ffmpeg services. If yourequire access to a server with one of these components, please let usknow.

主机商会把服务器上的网站一起转过去的，但建议自己做一下备份，以免造成数据丢失

IP在cpanel面板里可以查看
