请问美国很多主机商的所谓LifeTime Domain是真的吗

像www.startlogic.com这个公司的ProLogic Plane里说的LifeTime Domain 4 Life,这个life time 域名是真的吗？

我在Lunarpage的论坛上看到一个他们的会员说自己在一年前购买他们的一年合约时获得一个免费域名，他以为是Life Time的，但在今年到期续费时，他选择3个月合约，不久他收到mail说要他为那个免费的域名交钱。

看到这个http://www.lunarforums.com/lunarpages_web_hosting_plans_presales_questions/free_domain_name-t49329.0.html 里的情况，我也不禁要问到底这些保证所谓　Ｌｉｆｅ　Ｔｉｍｅ　Ｄｏｍａｉｎ的服务商是真是假？ 如果帐号cancel了，还可以拿所谓免费域名吗？

I have a question about the free domain name. I signed up a year ago for the 12 month plan and received the free domain name for life. When it came time to renew I ended up down grading to a three month plan for now, intending to maybe go back to a year plan later on. It appears that I now have to pay to renew the domain name I received upon registering a year ago. My initial assumption was that that was the case because I down graded off from an annual plan and lost the "domain name for life" benefit. However, when I look on the Lunarpages home page and click on the "read more" tab and then click on  "free domain name" it says that the domain name is only for the first year. I don't understand what happened to the "for life" part of the agreement, even if I've lost it by go off the annual plan. Any information would be appreciated.

你如果一直用他们的主机，免费的域名就一直免费，什么时候不用了，免费就停止了。
LP现在只提供一年免费了。
