One of our admins disabled the directory for this subdomain because it was using ALL of the Apache connections, causing all of the other sites on the server to not accept incoming connections. I notice that this is a fan-site forum that gets a lot of traffic. Honestly, I don't believe we will be able to allow this to run on our shared server any longer. It's so resource intensive that it may require a dedicated server to run efficiently. We do, however, offer a semi-dedicated solution that is cheaper than the dedicated server they may be sufficient for this.

baby croc，我放的是一个30分钟平均在线100人左右的论坛（高峰时不到200人），phpwind，全论坛启用静态生成，除了页面的部分美化没有安装其它插件或hack。无警告被停用后发邮件去support询问收到以上回复。

猜测hostgator对于shared主机所能容忍的30分钟内最大连接人数是100-150之间，超过了就会要你去升级到semi-dedicated，不管cpu或者mysql连接数是否超限～honestly

We cannot re-enable the directory. Are you think of moving to a semi-dedicated account? If you are we can activate the account and then move it to a temporary server for the time being.

我放论坛的那个目录完全被锁定，后台试过利用full backup备份出来，可备份文件解压之后那个目录也是空的。再次发邮件去问，得到回复是这样的。感觉像在逼我买semi-dedicated

那么Baby这款1T的流量合适

而Swamp款的空间应该绝对够用了吧

但是为什么要Semi Dedicated呢

说明空间和流量虽然够用,但是另一些隐藏的限制使得并不能很好地利用这些流量

当你流量还用不到70-80%的时候,可能那些受限的资源早已超标,这就是国外主机商够精明的地方.

你可以写信仔细询问究竟是什么资源使用过大,超了多少?
