We will be installing a new border router and transit bandwidth to LAX.  All those hosted in LAX will see an improvement in throughput.

There should be no impact on your DreamHost experience while this occurs.  However, as with all network maintenance, there is potential for outages.  Plan accordingly.

Update:  It seems that this didn’t go as smoothly as originally thought, and the outage is being investigated and worked on. We are very sorry for any inconvenience, and should have everything back up and running shortly.
