Support Staff Response
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your response.
I would be happy to assist you with your issue. In order to reassign a dedicated IP address to your hosting account you will need to revoke your current SSL certificate, then purchase and set up a new certificate.
Revocation is a permanent action and cannot be reversed. This results in the instant and permanent cancellation of your SSL certificate, and the process might take up to 72 hours to complete. Your server might incur downtime while your SSL is revoked.
Once an SSL certificate is revoked, you will be unable to rekey it, renew it, or reissue it. It is permanently deleted, and the site seal graphic is automatically removed from your website.
To Revoke an SSL Certificate
Log in to your Account Manager.
In the My Products section, select SSL Certificates.
Next to the certificate you want to manage, click Manage Certificate.
From the Filters list, click Certificates and then click the common name of the certificate you want to revoke.
Click Revoke.
Enter a revocation reason in the space provided.
Click Revoke to revoke your certificate.
NOTE: If you revoke your certificate within the first 30 days, contact Customer Service. You may be eligible for a refund.
Please let us know if we can assist you in any other way.
Sincerely,
Micah G.
