你好，我看到主机方案的Linux豪华计划，MySQL数据库的限制是25×200MB，请问是单个数据库不得超过200MB吗？还是数据库总的大小不得超过25×200MB，即只有一个数据库的情况下，不得超过5000MB？如果的确是限制单个数据库不得超过200MB，如果超过了，有什么解决办法？谢谢！
hi, for the Linux Hosting luxary plan whose MySQL database limit is 25X200mb, may i know whether this limit is for single database not exceeding  200MB or the total capacity not exceeding 5000MB while allowing single database to content more than 200MB, if it's true for the first one, is there any solution for a batabase which has exceeded the limit?

Thank you for contacting online support. Yes, each individual database can be up to 200MB. Unfortunately, we cannot adjust this limit in the shared hosting environment. If you need a single database that is larger than 200MB you will need to setup a virtual dedicated or dedicated server so you can manually control your database size limits. 发现国外的主机商参数方面都列得不够详细，看起来什么都无限制，对刚接触的人来说蛮诱人的，以为除了担心速度和被墙的问题就再也不用操心其他什么流量之类的问题了，其实这样不清不楚，很容易走歪路，买了才知道所谓的无限制空间大小、流量其实也都是有限制的。价钱也都是只按月份，一年多少还要用计算器算下，虽然进入付款页面就知道了，但很多都只是想直接明了的知道具体的价钱而已，而且有些不支持月付却只列出月付的价钱，作为销售手段，单独看月付的价钱确实是好便宜的，但只列出月付不列出年付价钱就有点不厚道了，这一点国内就好多了，虽然有时候宣传的时候也说每月只需多少多少，但到了价钱列表里还是会列出年付的价钱。

我觉得这个客服回复的和他们官方不一致
比如官方web hosting虚拟主机里unlimited plan方案里mysql数据库显示unlimited*200M
而grid hosting 云空间里mysql栏写着25, 却没有写数据库大小限制
所以我们认为数据库大小没有限制

当然实际使用当中无论是虚拟主机还是云主机,到现在几乎没有人反映说数据库容量不够用了
因为很多人超过200MB没事,还有很多人压根就没有用到200M
可能有些主机商写着1G的数据库,但是实际使用你能用多少呢,可能看着眼银一下

回楼上斑竹，“很多人超过200MB没事”的说法，既然人家有这限制，这会儿不管你罢了，可是随时会以这个理由请你滚蛋，就看需不需要这么做了。200MB的限制，对于做博客应该是差不多够了，但是对于做论坛就远远不够了。
