邮件投诉Godaddy的过程

应该是周日开始的,在godaddy上的deluxe hosting老是抽风,经常连不上,或者500内部错误,甚至告诉我database server down.

于是发信过去:
第一封:
I'm afraid that my hosting is too slow to repond: xxxxx.com/xxxxxxxx.com, and the database connection failed frequently.

It show me:

Error establishing a database connection
the database's domain is: p50mysql201.secureserver.net

What's the matter with your hosting service?

I understand that your website is running slow and you are getting errors. I did not get any errors when viewing your website. If you can please provide step by step instructions on how we can reproduce the error we can take a look into the issue. 然后我回了个不专业的ping数据,第二封:
the host: xxxxx.com

    Packets: Sent = 1106, Received = 639, Lost = 467 (42% loss),

    Minimum = 192ms, Maximum = 949ms, Average = 224ms

but i ping another godaddy's host, www.xxxxxxx.com
Ping statistics for 72.167.xx.xx:
    Packets: Sent = 12, Received = 12, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 191ms, Maximum = 207ms, Average = 193ms

对方就开始技术制高了:

Please note that "Pinging" our hosting services is not a valid testing method of our services as we deny most ping requests. To assist us in pinpointing the source of this issue we ask that you provide us with the results of a "trace route". A trace route shows that path that a connection takes from your computer to a website, or another computer.

If you are using the Windows operating system, follow these steps to get the trace route results:

• From your Start Menu, go to "Programs", then to "Accessories".
• Here you will find either "MS-DOS Prompt" or "Command Prompt".
• Click on that program and a window should appear with some information regarding your version of windows and a prompt. The prompt should be similar to the following:

Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
(C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.

C:\WINDOWS>


NOTE: The command prompt window may show different text than the above. However, that will not affect this process.
At the prompt, enter the following:

tracert xxxxx.com

After typing this press ENTER, you will get back a long list of information, and it will return to the original prompt you started with. To copy the results, right click on the menu bar of this window, go to "Edit" and select "Mark". Starting at the upper left-hand corner of the command prompt window, highlight the full contents of the trace results. Once you have it all highlighted, press the ENTER key on your keyboard. This will put the highlighted information into your Windows clipboard, allowing you to paste that into a text file to attach to your response.


If you are using Macintosh OSX, you can use an application called Terminal to run a trace route. You should be able to locate Terminal in your hard drive in the Utilities folder, under Applications.


NOTE: Terminal uses a command-line interface. This means you'll be entering commands at a prompt rather than using the more familiar Aqua graphic interface.
Once you have launched Terminal, enter the following to run the trace route:

traceroute xxxxx.com

Once this has completed, highlight the contents of the Terminal window. Click on the "Edit" menu and select "Copy". You can then paste this information into a text file, which you would then attach to your response.


We understand that this is quite a few steps; however this will allow us to further research the problem you are experiencing. We appreciate your assistance in tracking down the source of this problem.

结果完了,对方就乱推卸责任了:

According the the trace routes you have provided you are successfully connecting to our servers. The timeouts you are seeing are due to our firewalls. It is normal to receive these timeouts. Please try lowering or disabling any firewalls or anti-virus software you have active on your computer and attempt to view your sites. If you are still experiencing issues you may want to contact your ISP to investigate this issue further as there does not appear to be any issues on our end. We apologize for any inconvenience.

这时候我找了北美的朋友帮我看了一下,确定不是ISP和防火墙的问题,就强硬回邮件:

I contacted some friends in US/Canada to view my website, the same problem as mine. The website no response occasionally.

I believe it should not be ISP or firewall's problem. Anyway, may you can solve it. Otherwise i should change to other hosting provider.

I have tested your domain in both Internet Explorer and Firefox and your site was able to resolve without issue. Please use this Browser Tool and check to make sure that your browser is properly configured to work with our system. If everything is properly configured please try to empty your browser's cookie and cache files. If you are not already, make sure you are using the most recent version of your browser. For Internet Explorer, try setting the security and privacy settings to medium or medium-low. If you continue to experience problems, please respond with the information below:

2. Expand the Advanced menu by clicking on the plus sign (+).
3. Select Cache, and click Clear Cache.
4. Click OK.

看不起人……我回了最后一封,并同时准备找别的虚拟主机商:
IT IS NOT THE BROWSER'S WRONG. I have used internet for at least 10 years.

I met 3 problems:
first, sometimes can not connect to my website,
second, sometimes it give me a 500 interal ERROR.
third, sometimes the database can not connect by my website's program/

These problems start the recent 2~3 days.

WHY YOU NOT TO CHECK YOUR MACHINE'S STATUS?????

然后客服们一直没有回信,下午再ping一下,发现恢复正常了。

总结:开头太礼貌了,导致浪费口水。其中我还填了份调查问卷,骂了一通。如果对服务有把握怀疑的话,直接开骂,居高临下。

这种问题很难解决,只能是一种原因一种原因的排除,如果问题是出在网络上,就更不好解决了
其实这样的问题最好的解决方法还是换一个服务器
